Last time I was in Melbourne I walked around the Queen Vic Markets attempting to avoid the smell of meat and fish and happened to stumble upon a marvelous store full of Frida esque and Mexican goodies. I would love to stumble upon it again. [insp meaning inspired]
I'd go here for Courtney. Probably don't need to go again myself. It was great, probably more so if I was after koala tshirts or kilos of dead cow.
This was my saviour last time. I had never seen them before. In case you haven't either they're a 24 hour pie store and almost a kind of bakery. Vegetarian pie. Mushy peas. Mash tatoes. At 2 am. In Melbourne winter. YEEESSSSS. This time I possibly will have more money, and i don't have a squalled little freezing room a block away to take it back to this time either lol.
There are at least 3 Dangerfield stores scattered around and one is a giant super store full of either faulty or out of season goods for cheap. Heck yes. Worth a look even if it all turns out to be faulty. But the new stock is awesome, best tshirts everrrr.
Camera shop downstairs, camera museum upstairs. What a win ! Last time I managed to find a sale bucket of filters that were like $10 each. Needless to say I walked out $150 poorer but ultimately much better off !

The major ones and the minor ones. I rememeber where most of them are, but I hope to find new ones :)
If we get time. A beach is a beach, but a walk can be nice :) Plus it's got a cool scaled solar system walk.
I forget what it's called but it's really awesome and weird and bright. And I want to go back.

Yes ! The coolest community gardens near St Kilda and the beach.
