So, i'm pretty sure this is the best packaged product I have EVER seen. Zomg.

Christmas Cameras

So as everyone knows what a mad camera collector and user I am, this Christmas I managed to add 3 more beauties to my collection :)

The first one I got was the Kodak Vollenda 620, or the really old looking one if you want the technical name ;)

It takes 620 film, which doesn't exist anymore, but 120 film is practically the same thing, which does exist. All I need as another 620 spool and I can respool some 120 and give this camera a try out !

 

Next I got a Ricoh KR-5 Super II given to me by a friend. It looks brand new, it's crazy. Going to get batteries for it later in the week and give it a burl. It's a 35mm.

And last but not least, and a totally freaky coincidence, an aunt found her old(ish) Ricoh KR-10 that she took away to ... England? Somewhere anyway lol. The camera has what looks to be a K-mount, which is fantastic but also a bit funny at the same time. A K-mount is a type of Pentax mount (way the lens clips to the camera, a bit like a key), so the lenses work with all my pentax's as well !

Sprouts are good for you

Day four, and WOW ! Even after day one these little babies had taken off ! There are way to many seeds for a start, but they've all managed to get enough water to start the sprouting process, and when you water the postcard garden you tip it over the seeds that have been pushed to the top, so they all get a drink !

Almost ready to harvest i'd say :)

So this year eeryone kind of went all out and got each other heaps of stuff, but not useless crap at least, all stuff that we will use or really love. I got some really cool things and thought i'd share a few over the next coming weeks :)

After all of this unseasonable (but awesome) rain and non 3rd-degree-christmas-sun, some Mushy friends have sprouted all over the garden. Here are some quick shots from the D300 :)

Etsy and Madeit

Sooo, you can now find Stranger and Fiction stuff on Madeit.com.au and Etsy.com ! At the moment i'm just selling prints, dry mounted on foam core board with a bio of what camera and film I used for the shot. On Etsy, i'm also selling some awesome vintage goodies i've found around the place - I might even part with some of my collection of cameras - *maybe*.

Soon though, I hope to have some photo cards that you can put in a frame after you've finished with them / recieved one, plus some other funky stuff. I was thinking playing cards? Stay posted anyway :)
