Sheena was a Glam Rocker

It's the year of 21sts apparently. This is me showing my age more apparently.

This one was a glam rock, hair metal, 80s.

Laura aka Axle Rose and Gee [the birthday girl] mid speeches.

Slash, in my top hat. Except I missed his head, and the whole point of having the photo lol.

Me mid loling, Cameron aggressively offering me ice, slightly less drunk than earlier.

Meeeee.

Jess in her denim, you can't see her skin tight leather pants. Cameron in his wig, off chops, also sporting a fluro pink lycra jumpsuit that you can't see lol. Neil in his Back To The Future esque outfit. That dude has a sick collection of pumped up kicks.

One of the four members of Kiss getting around, as well as Cyndi Lauper and Bek in her Madonna-ish outfit.

Twas a fun night. I love a good dress up.

There's still a few 21sts to goooo.

Rally

It was cold, it was wet, it got colder and it got wetter. What a great idea to go to a Rally.

It was fun to watch, possibly more so if I followed it. Like, at all.

I should point out that this was actually a huge event, it's just me who's not talking it up lol. There were the top Australian drivers, pretty sure there was even World Class cars / drivers. People had traveled a long way to get to it. There was an English family I walked behind for a while and they talked about their flight over specifically for the Rally. There was also a camper van that normally sports retired grey haired nomads, but this time sported the Irish flag and had a fair bit of house music spurting out of it. Pretty funny.

Party photos tomorrow.

A light bit of rain and some alleys

It was deliciously overcast the other day so took some cameras and went for a wander in my lunch.

These first two shots are from my Minolta with the triple exposed film.

These shots are from my new Olympus Trip 35 I scored for $4 the other day :) This was the first test roll in it.

This old gentleman talked to me for 25 mintues. While my back and bits of cameras were in the rain. He was very interesting I just didn't enjoy standing laden with heavy cameras and in the rain for so long lol. He saw my Yashica 635 and got excited and told me about how he used to work as a photographer out at huge mines back in the 80s and all the amazing things he got photos of, and how they're all gone. He used hand gestures, as you can see I caught him mid gesture lol.

I like gound for walks behind buildings and cities. And looking up. People never look up. I've spotted some tags between rooftops, people living in areas that really shouldn't be lived in and some amazing architecture simply by looking up in the town i've pretty much always lived in and never noticed before.

Every now and then, look up.
