Right now, it's stupid STUPID hot.
But with heat comes massive storms, and boy did we get a big one a few nights ago. One of our oldest and biggest trees in our yard was knocked clean over :( It was a white mulberry tree, provided so much shade for the garden, and was bursting with fruit for about 2 months of the year.
Really, we're super lucky it only ruined a fence, and not the house or any other trees. We can't really tell the damage underneath it as yet, but hopefully nothing precious.
It's hard to tell just how big the tree was in the photos, but i guess if you stood under the canopy and walked from one side to the other it'd be about 10m diameter.

Shit Jaz! Massive tree! very lucky nothing else went down! glad everything else is ok but it really is a shame about the tree.
