wave from afar

So every now and then I'm going to wave from afar - I've kind of really done it already with craftbangboom and my mate Courtney, but now I've put a name to it lol. Be it someone I know, or someone who i admire from a [very long] distance, it shall now be called:

Mr Dene Lockwood.

Mr Dene and I had the chance to meet in the swarming alleys and trash cans of Melbourne. We grew up in the same area, but it wasn't until we were both a state away from home that we met. I'm glad we did, because if memory serves I had a pretty awesome time.

The best part about meeting Dene was learning that he loved film; his weapon of choice being a "Golden Half" Half-frame 35mm Camera, or at least a camera that looks like one lol.
 

I love his shots. As much as I felt Melbourne was a bit pretentious,  these shots reall make me want to go back. There was something just so fantastic about the seedyness and the grunge, and I think he really captures it.

So that was me waving from afar.
