Aaaah !
Okay, so while I was in Brisbane for the weekend, I took my Diana that i'd dodgily loaded with opshop-found 35mm. This meant that when I finished the roll, I needed a changing bag to roll the film off of the 120 spool and back into the 35mm canister. I went into the Ted's Camera Store there and WOW - they had FILM ! and CHEMICALS !
I was so stoked, I picked up new ILFORD MULTIGRADE PAPER DEVELOPER !
*sound of the heavens opening up - aaaaaaauuuuhhhhh*
So tonight I locked myself in my bathroom [as is the usual way my photo evenings go] and endured the 45 degree room for -
This !
Yaaaaay ! Ignore the white backs of the paper, it was a success ! I tried printing the other day, but the chemicals I used I got with my enlarger, and they are at least 15 years old. I think that was the problem, else two packets of paper were stuffed, so who knows. I'll test the paper with the new chemicals later when it's not so hot.
Because the temperature was so out, and this was my first time lol, they are a little on the light side [minus the first 2 attempts haha] but they still look really cool !
All in all, I think a big success, and a giant leap in the direction of learning and experimenting more !
Stranger.
that's so exciting!!!
