Day eight.

One more full day to go. Museum day today. There was a great looking Titanic exhibition, but i'm saving the $30 ticket for the European Masters at the Melbourne Gallery. Woo ! General Museum ticket was good though. Learnt about Melbourne and it's history. Found myself not knowing what to think and trying not to be freaked out in a room full of stuffed animals (as in the once real, now dead kind). Saw a Thylacine though (Tasmanian Tiger - google it people) so that was pretty special. And sad.

Photos.

When I'd finished lookin around and headed back outside, I found all these guys with video cameras and skateboards taking advantage of the large space of clear concrete and were trying to clear this massive gap between these weird step things and the main path. When I walked through they just sat there doing nothing, until I said something along the lines of 'what, don't you kids do tricks around here?' (and yes - I call everyone under the age of like 22 a kid - even though I am too lol).

Got a few shots, including 2 with my Diana and my new Instant Back. After about 3 or 4 goes one guy managed to clear it and not faceplant when he landed, so I started walking to the nearest tram stop. When I was out of the complex and down about a block, I heard skateboard wheels coming up behind me. One of the guys had $2 in coins and asked if he could buy the polaroid off me haha. I told him i'd taken two in case this happened and gave it to him (i didn't accept the $2 lol).

Much later that afternoon I got off the elevator to my hotel room, pushing through a bunch of people trying to get on. All I can hear as I walk down the hallway is "Hey, it's the Polaroid chick! Where? Yeah, it is!"

Haha :)
